Francine Eggs and Andreas Bitschin developed an artistic approach called "endogramme". They are interested in "writing inside" a piece of art and create out of it a new artwork from a specific fragment. Specifities of a painting "beyond the eyes" become visible by showing a detail, shading and colors. Endogrammes are printed on glass slides, diafilme or aluminum and become sculptures and windows installations.
They got an award in 2006 from the canton of Valais to continue their artistic research in Berlin.
